UNM Sustainable Environmental Education Network, also known as SEEN, is a volunteer network supported by UNM Campus Services and Estate Office.  UNM SEEN consists of individuals from our campus community, alumni and public, who share a passion for cultivating a greener environment through practices, workshops, and campaigns.  UNM SEEN also provides a platform for students to initiate sustainability-related projects such WasteNott and Gardening project . For the past few years, SEEN has been carrying out the on-campus composting site. Every year, 48 tonnes of on-campus food waste is converted to 3.6 tonnes of compost which is used as a soil mix for our campus landscaping and community garden to grow vegetables and herbs.
