We held this event with ACE Society to raise awareness on beach pollution. Our participants went down south to Pantai Cahaya, a popular beach in the coastal city Port Dickson. A representative from SWM Environment provided equipment for the participants to pick up beach litter. Then, everyone sorted the waste according to the following categories: cigarettes, paper, plastic and miscellaneous. It was an eye-opening experience for the participants to learn how much waste and what type ends up on the beach. For the rest of the day, everyone had a fun time at the beach and enjoyed great food at the nearby lively pasar malam!
